Suffolk Youth Brass Band - New County Brass Band Launches

We are pleased to announce we have recently launched a new county brass band, Suffolk Youth Brass Band and we want to hear from all Brass instrumentalists and percussionists!

The ensemble's next rehearsal weekend is on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 February 2023

• Do you want to play a wide range of Brass Band music with likeminded young musicians from all over Suffolk?
• Can you play a Brass instrument to around Grade 3 standard or higher?  
• If you answered yes to the questions above then this ensemble is perfect for you and so apply today!

Included in your membership will be 8 full rehearsal days which will be spread over 4 weekends during 2022/2023 (see below for dates)

Rehearsals will be held at Northgate Arts Centre, Sidegate Lane West, Ipswich IP4 3DF and will run from 10.00am – 5.00pm.

There will be a chance to work with some professional brass band players over the year as well as a performance opportunity at the end of the season. 

Membership of this ensemble is free of charge for any current CMG member (Suffolk Youth Orchestra, Suffolk Youth Wind Orchestra or Suffolk Young Strings) and £300 for anybody else. It’s a bargain!

Fees are pro rata if you join later in the year, so from January 2023 the cost is £225.
