Suffolk County Music Service offers instrument hire for children and young people.

How to hire an instrument

1. Read the conditions below and then complete the Instrument hire request form.
   
2. You will receive an email acknowledgement of your request. Please check your junk/spam folders if the email is not in your inbox.
3. When your request has been processed, the Music Service will contact you to confirm if an instrument is available. 

How to pay for hire

Please pay for hire when the Music Service has confirmed that an instrument is available.

1. Visit the Suffolk County Council music activities payments website.
2. Type Instrument hire into the search box.
3. Click on 'Instrument hire' and then complete the form.

Instrument recall

If you have received a notification from us to recall your instrument, please complete the instrument recall form.
