A free, downloadable multi-track audio editor.
Using this software, it is possible to set students a task to create soundscapes in response to particular images using sounds and samples from free-to-use websites such Soundbible.com.
Alternatively, set a project to collect ‘found sounds’ from home using their phones to edit in Audacity with the aim of creating their own beats.
